Christmas 2008

May you find the gifts of peace, love and joy this Christmas.
This was the image for my Christmas card this year. Thank you to grandsons Andrew, Matthew and Brandon for being my models.

Beautiful painting--the colors are so jewel-like, and I love the story the card tells too!

I love how you use your growing grandchildren as models for your card each year! Sooner than you would like, you will have have a supply of adult models for your paintings! Priceless memories with these gems.

Thanks for sharing your card. Great idea and as Susan says, your models will be growing up. Hope your holidays are great.

Mickey - This was such a great idea for a card. Karen did a great job getting the boys to pose. Now you've got to get Louis onto one of the cards! What can he be next Christmas?

Thanks, Laura, Susan, Jo and Joan. All of my children and now my grandchildren have been on cards at various times except the youngest, Louis. Some of the older kids have been used several times.

Susan, I hope they don't grow too fast. :-)

Joan, I will find a way to get Lou on a card too. Maybe he can be the drummer boy.

How old is Lou? Nice that you have the live models. No one here but 4-legged ones. Next Saturday is the next sketchcrawl. Should be a cold one.
