Here's a small white rose that I painted for the latest SWAP. I like painting white flowers - they always pop against a dark background, and it's a challenge to paint the shadows, keep them colorful and yet still make them look "white".
I am a watercolor artist living in New Jersey. I am a member of the North East Watercolor Society, the New Jersey Watercolor Society, and several local and internet art organizations through which I exhibit my paintings. My favorite subjects are close focused florals and landscapes. I've recently begun teaching a beginning watercolor class at our local senior center.
