This spring, I bought several new rhododendron plants for my front and back yards. I took a lot of photos of them when they were in bloom, and painted this one recently.
Wow, Michelle! I envy you for painting this painting from your photos...but, I also envy you for being able to grow these! This is lovely! Here on the desert I am limited in reference photos!
I am a watercolor artist living in New Jersey. I am a member of the North East Watercolor Society, the New Jersey Watercolor Society, and several local and internet art organizations through which I exhibit my paintings. My favorite subjects are close focused florals and landscapes. I've recently begun teaching a beginning watercolor class at our local senior center.

And another great floral Michelle, I can't decide what part I like more, the colors of the flowers are tempting but those leaves are delicious!

Teresa, I was really happy with the leaves on this one - not usually my strong point.
Susan, you may not have rhodies, but don't you have all those beautiful flowering cacti?
