Going Digital

This is a digital painting that I did as homework for an online class called "Layering in Photoshop Elements" that I've been taking on WetCanvas. It will never replace watercolors, but it can be fun (and frustrating) in it's own right.

Your painting looks really nice.

Interesting...not as soft as water colors...but still really pretty!

Thanks, KeeKee and Dawn. No, it's not as soft as watercolors, but it can be a lot of fun and I've seen some really cool effects that experienced digital painters can achieve. I'm hoping to do some more of these soon.

Did you draw the flower with the mouse and then go back and color it in or scan in a drawing and color in? Either way, it's great. I'm still learning photoshop. I can't do anything near this good!
