Myrtle Beach Palms

Recently I sold a small palm tree painting and wanted to do another a little larger. This is a half sheet watercolor (15 x 22) of some trees I saw while taking a workshop in Myrtle Beach last spring. I focused in close and left out the large hotel in the background.

This came out so nice and light and airy! I can almost feel the breeze. You did a super job on those palm fronds. I think it would have made me crazy.

Michelle, I am happy to see you painting again. The palm tree is gorgous.

Michelle,

I meant to comment on this earlier with the WcW group but didn't get it done. I love the interplay of the lighter and darker palm fronds. This is a very graceful painting and makes a nice return for you to the painting world. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work...Susan
